The educational clown show “Je suis différent” about disability and inclusion

An attentive audience at the clown show 'Je suis différent', raising awareness of disability and diversity

Birth, motor development, play in childhood, lying, secrets, empathy, our relationship to disability, the wish for a perfect child, the wish to do away with disability, social and romantic relationships, the ways forward, the different ways of accepting disability, as well as discrimination linked to origin, appearance, genetic characteristics, economic vulnerability and racial stereotypes. These are the main themes of this clown show.

It shows that being different in a wheelchair is not a barrier to life and its surprises (emotional, romantic, cultural life…). O'Glu sees Robinetto, not his disability.

This show does not offer ready-made answers; it opens up the child's imagination. It does not claim to provide the ideal solution.

The clown show “Je suis différent” raises awareness among audiences of all ages about the fight against discrimination, addressing disability, origin, appearance, genetic characteristics, economic vulnerability and racial stereotypes with humour and poetry, while promoting empathy and acceptance of difference.

This show was created and performed for the Association des Paralysés de France during awareness days and for the Festival Humour et Handicap.
